Forgotten childhood found
As I listen to their sound
For when the clouds are low
It's then I hear them blow
In days gone by I was snuggled in
I remember them as early as ten.
The nostalgic comfort of that place
Still brings a warm smile to my face.
Today the meanings sweeter still
As I've found another who shares my thrill
Tho memories may different be
She loves their sound as much as me.
Their sounds pass by fair fields before
Finally reaching me at my forest floor
They carry to me the soothing sounds
That very near is where love abounds.
