I taste symphonies

As saccharine sound waves pulse from ear buds to taste buds.

I smell happiness

As freshly cut grass sweeps beneath my nose like a lazy smile

Swirls of color wind their way through the air in rhythmic synchronicity

As soaring music caresses my skin and raises my flesh

Tiny bumps of electricity cause my hair to stand at attention in miniscule attempts to feel every note

Every note that pierces my drums creating splashes of color that ignite brightly behind my eyes.

Skin electric, eyes on fire, I am alive.
