Scratch the Surface

As I scratch the surface I hope I leave a mark

Lightening the pains inside your hearts

Let’s be honest aren’t we all insecure

If not then why we don’t seem pure

As I walk my life I hope I touch your ears

Because I hoped my messages are clear

I just extend my hand to assist

To aid the curse of blissful ignorance

Patience is of virtue

Well I’m tired of waiting

I have nothing to show or to attract

My mind goes black

So I write thoughts down

Just so I hear my heart sound

Hopelessly helpless defensive defenseless

My heart stops so I don’t feel the beatings
