ACCEPTANCE TO THE JURIED ARTISTS’ ROSTER During the Spring and Fall of each year, the Northwest Louisiana Juried Artists Roster will select a jury of out-of-town judges that will review the Directory for the entries of the new artists who have submitted during the previous year, and this jury will determine who will be added to the Juried Artist Roster. BENEFITS OF THE JURIED ARTISTS’ ROSTER Promotion on the Shreveport Regional Arts Council Directory WEBSITE. The Artists’ CardAs a member of the Juried Artists’ Roster you will receive the official Artist Card which provides Free Admission to all artspace Exhibition Openings and ArtHouse. In addition you will have access to special events pre-identified via invitation. *Does not apply to fundraising events including but not limited to ArtScare or Christmas In the Sky. The opportunity to be featured as the “Artist of the Month” on the SRAC website. Expedited “qualifying procedures” for most of the “Calls” for public art commissions, teaching opportunities, exhibitions, and the new opportunities that await artists in Northwest Louisiana. First news about “Calls”, grant opportunities and other professional development for Artists. Monthly online newsletter promoting opportunities for artists in the Region Participation in setting policies and guidelines for the growth of the ARTS Northwest Louisiana! The NW Louisiana Juried Artist meets monthly to discuss opportunities for artists and policies that will drive growth for the Arts. An expedited application process for giftspace and coolspace located within artspace - 710 Texas Street. Invitations to all arts events that the Shreveport Regional Arts Council produces.
