Attuned Art December

Michael Gable started his working career as a carpenter and cabinet maker. However, he is now retired and concentrates on his artwork. Michael feels that God has given him the gift of working wood with his hands. He hand carves hummingbirds from different species of wood, trying to show the beauty of the wood in the shape of a hummingbird. Michael has recently started sculpting wood into bowls and vessels using a wood lathe. He has truly found a new passion.

Uriah Oxford is a self-taught artist working primarily as a painter of Abstracts. He enjoys using non-traditional materials and found objects in his work to create deep layers and textures that mimic the bayous of Louisiana and the inner city in which he grew up. Uriah currently serves as an Associate Pastor in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Connie Stephens is a jewelry creator. Creation comes from within, and what comes from within comes from God. Connie states that this is the gift that God has blessed her with and she will utilize that gift so that people can see the awesomeness of His power and His wisdom. She is an artist made in his likeness.

Brandie Ferguson was raised in Hemphill, Texas and has lived in Minden, Louisiana since 2008. Brandie and her family have traveled extensively and she has seen many of God’s majestic wonders in nature which has inspired her to capture these moments in photography. God made the world beautiful and full of wonders, and Brandie feels it’s her job and calling to recognize and capture that beauty in such a way that the viewing audience would also be captive and drawn to the image.
