In the world of fantasy literature there is always a dashing hero who saves the day when all hope seems lost. Almost as iconic as the hero themselves is the trusty blade by their side. In my art I like to pay homage to these tools of the trade. I like to pour as much personality and detail into these weapons a some do into the heroes that wield them.
