I began making art as a folk art painter. Later, I began formal study of art through art history and studio classes in university. When I was about to graduate with a master's degree in studio art, painting, I took a graphics art class and discovered Adobe software. That's all it took for me to take the plunge into the digital world of visual art. Now my work is mostly digital abstract/expressionism, however, I have made a few works of realism. I also enjoy fiction novel writing and writing and illustrating for children.
I am motivated by process and by abstract patterns, reflectivity, and texture.

Education: Minnesota State University, Mankato for both my Bachelor of Arts and Master of arts degrees. I have been traveling around the globe a bit and not involved in art groups, all the while making art in my intimate space.
