About me
Mary Louise Porter received a BFA and MFA in Painting from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. Her artwork has been exhibited throughout Louisiana as well as nationally. Her contemporary landscapes are a combination of ideas from the imagination, images seen in commonplace reality, and explorations of areas seen in her travels. They are truly a journey of memories and recollections of her life. Intense, bold, and sometimes complex color and line are important elements in conveying the energy visualized in the final outcome of the painting. -
